Barry Urich , a versatile drummer with over 35 years of experience has performed both in the United States and abroad. Currently a freelance drummer, Barry performs with the areas top bands. He played with Connecticut's premiere blues rock band, BLUE IN THE FACE. He has also performed with LESTER CHAMBERS of THE CHAMBERS BROTHERS and JOSE FELICIANO. As the house drummer at "Black Eyed Sallys" Barry has shared the stage with many of the world's top performers including JOHNNY WINTER, DELBERT MCCLINTON, JOHNNY LANG, BUDDY GUY, ROBERT CRAY, and DR. JOHN. Barry supports up and coming drummers through his work as a well respected teacher at his private studio in Norwalk, CT. Session Drummer / Drum Lessons
Barry has studied extensively both at the Drummers Collective in New York City and the University of Bridgeport, Bridgeport Connecticut. Earned a B.A. in Business and Marketing at Pace University. He continues to perfect his art by private study, attending workshops and clinics, and free-lances extensively.
